Thyme is a small semi-shrub that grows to a height of 10 to 50 cm. It contains many leaflets that have curled edges. It has a characteristic pungent herbal smell and contains essential oil in the leaves. It contains a high content of thymol, some tannins, glycosides and resin. It is used as an herb in cooking and for special tea mixtures for respiratory problems.
The product is certified organic SI-EKO-001 and is of Ph.Eur quality.
