Raspberry oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the raspberry fruit. It contains a high content of essential fatty acids (as much as 80%) and is rich in carotenoids (a source of vitamin A) and natural tocopherols (vitamin E). Raspberry oil is best known for its use as a complementary skin care product when sunbathing. But when using it, it is necessary to take into account that it does not offer UV protection, but has a beneficial effect due to the high concentration of antioxidants it contains. Raspberry oil does not replace sun creams with a protective factor. It is recommended that oil and creams be used together.
Due to its rich composition of vitamins, the oil is also an extremely good scavenger of free radicals (antioxidant) and therefore has a long shelf life. The oil is suitable for the care of all skin types, especially sensitive skin. It is known to soothe irritated skin extremely well, has a restorative effect, has a beneficial effect on unpleasant phenomena, smoothes wrinkles in mature skin and keeps the skin healthy and radiant.
